第209偈
He who does what should not be done and fails to do what should be done, who forsakes the noble aim of life (morality, concentration and insight) and grasps at sensual pleasure, covets the benefits gained by those who exert themselves in meditation.
自ら不適当なことに努力する、あるいは適当なことに努力しない。[このように]利益を[得ることを]捨てた、[還俗の]所愛の補足者たちは、[頭陀行など]自分のために努力する人[=比丘]を羨む。
